CUNDERDIN AGRICULTURAL OPEN DAY EXCURSION:

On 4 September, Rooms 2 and 4 enjoyed an exciting excursion to the Cunderdin Agricultural School Open Day. Students loved meeting and cuddling 6-week-old piglets, helping to name the calves, watching sheep shearing demonstrations, and taking part in a variety of fun activities and games.

Our Year 6 students also had the opportunity to speak with representatives from universities and agricultural businesses, asking thoughtful questions about future career pathways and the future of farming.

It was a wonderful day of hands-on learning, discovery, and plenty of farmyard fun! 🐷🐑🐮🌾🚜

Yesterday, Debbie the activities organiser from Bunnings came out to work with our room 2 students to build their very own worm farm! We had lots of fun building a worm farm for 1000 worms! Did you know worms have 5 pairs of hearts?♥️

Bunnings is also hosting a Father's Day activity night on Thursday afternoon for anyone interested check out their page! There is free hands-on activities, free sausage sizzles, face painting and even a free coffee for the first 100 people! 🪱🪱🪱

Canteen Change!

This week only, the Canteen will be open TOMORROW TUESDAY 1st SEPTEMBER, but will be CLOSED this Thursday 3rd September.

It will be back to its usual Thursdays the week after. 😀
