The Grade 5/6 students have been reading the realistic fantasy novel 'Skellig' by Peter Almond. The story is about a boy whose sister is sick and his family have just moved house. He makes a new friend and together, they discover a strange creature in the garage. The book highlights themes of friendship, family and overcoming adversity. Students were asked to redesign the front cover as part of their Reading subject which are currenlty on display outside their classrooms. Great work everyone!
