A lovely morning sharing National Simultaneous Storytime together.
Special guest reader, Principal Ms Linda Douglas, shared Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller with our Kindergarten to Year 2 students, prompting lots of questions and discussion.
Thank you to all our families who joined us for Storytime and stayed on to enjoy reading some of our girls’ favourite books together.

Heavy rain sadly forced the cancellation of last week’s Senior Athletics Carnival but it didn’t dampen the spirit of our House Cheers Competition.
Year 12 students dressed up and lead their Houses in song with passion and pride.
Congratulations to Ralston House for taking out the top spot with the theme “Ralston Retro”.

Thank you to the sold-out crowd of 400 who gathered at Hilton Sydney’s Grand Ballroom on Friday for a memorable Wenona Foundation Long Lunch - our largest and most successful Long Lunch fundraising event to date.
Funds raised will go towards upgrading our sports facilities, supporting Wenona girls now and into the future. The final figure will be shared next week in Wenona News.
Thank you to our panel, Co-MCs, and Long Lunch Committee for the care they brought to the day. The Foundation’s work continues through the Annual Giving Appeal, and we are grateful for our community’s ongoing support.

The weather didn’t deter Wenona students from a great morning on Sunday taking on the Balmoral Burn.
Dressed in full colour, Team Wenona saw Senior and Junior School students, Head of Sport Ben Offereins, and several staff join together to run and walk up the iconic 420 metre hill.
Congratulations to Tahlia (Year 11), who worked hard to raise the most funds of any participating school student.
All funds raised go towards helping sick kids, providing medical equipment to hospitals nationwide.
