The McDonald College is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational Kindergarten – Year 12 school in North Strathfield. Our unique partnerships with Sydney Dance Company and Voyager Tennis Academy offer our students networks beyond school and pathways to the future with industry training of the highest calibre. We count amongst our alumni Emma Watkins (the former Yellow Wiggle), Bojana Novakovic (2022 Silver Logie nominee for Most Popular Actress) and Meg Mac (singer / songwriter) as well as many other graduates who are working as doctors, lawyers, teachers and business leaders. We hold a series of Open Days and Experience Days, in addition to Auditions for entry into Years 7 – 12. Principal’s Tours are available by appointment. Bravo to Myles and Ava on their fantastic performances at the Interschools Snow Sports Competition, earlier this month at Perisher! 🏂❄️

After two days of competition, Myles placed 4th in Snowboard GS and 8th in Snowboard Cross, while Ava achieved 17th in Snowboard Cross and 23rd in Snowboard GS.
It was a tough competition against talented young snowboarders from across the region, and our students' talent and dedication was evident by their great performance.
We’re also thrilled to share that both, Myles and Ava, have been invited by Snow Australia to represent The McDonald College at the National Championships! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to cheering them on at the national level. 💙❤️

Over the last two days, Senior Dance Stream students participated in two professional performances for corporate events at Town Hall and at Wentworth Sofitel.

They were joined by professional dancers Molly Bugeja, Asha Rostron, and Kylan Walsh, and performed 3 routines under the direction of BJ Rorke (Head of Dance). Kris Lewis (also a McDonald College Alumni) was the producer of the events for TLC Productions.

For our dancers, this is a fantastic hands-on industry experience - a great way to peek into what could lie ahead following a career in dance.

On Friday evening, students, families, friends, staff and guests gathered to celebrate our annual and always incredible Art & Design Show.

The variety, imagination and skill on display was truly outstanding, showcasing the dedication and talent of our young creatives across a wide range of artistic disciplines. We are immensely proud of everything our students have achieved and grateful to the teachers who encouraged, guided and supported them throughout the creative process.

A special thank you to Jane and the Art & Design team, Jasmin, Anna, and Patchi, along with our Junior School staff and everyone who helped bring this wonderful exhibition to life.
