Our 3rd & final dance competition of the season! ✨

On Sunday, our dancers took to the stage at The Hills Dance Spectacular Eisteddfod at Lindfield College for a huge 8 hour day of dance!

Well done to all three of our Competition Troupes for representing SNPS so proudly. The growth we have seen across all three teams this year has been incredible, particularly over the past three weeks of competitions. We are so proud of each and every one of you!

🌟 A very big congratulations to our smallest dancers in Mini Comp Troupe, who received a Highly Commended with an impressive score of 90 AND were awarded Most Entertaining Infants School 2026! What an incredible achievement in their very first competition season 🐝🍯🧸

A huge thank you to our wonderful dance families for all their unwavering support and love. And a special shoutout to Miss Di Palma and Miss Francis, who have generously volunteered their time for the past three weekends in a row to support Miss Sally and our dancers. We truly couldn’t do it without you! 🥰

While competition season may be over, there’s still plenty more dance to come this term…watch this space! 🤩

Our Logic Legends faced a truly intense final round today against St Johns Park Public School, demonstrating exceptional critical thinking and teamwork. While we didn't secure the win to progress to the next round, the team should be immensely proud of their performance.

A huge well done to all our debaters for their perseverance, dedication, and passion throughout the year. It has been an absolute pleasure watching you grow into such confident speakers! 👏🏻🎉

Today was our annual Year 6 Move-a-thon fundraiser 🏀🏃

Year 6 students led sports rotations throughout the day and really showcased their amazing leadership skills by giving out clear instructions to all the students and ensuring everyone was being safe and having fun at the same time!

Thank you Year 6's for your organisation ❤️

Please don't forget to bring your Move-a-thon sponsorship form to the office by Friday 11 September! There are prizes to be won for those who raise the most money 😊

🧢 ⚽️ FATHER’S DAY STALL – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🚗 🏈

🌟 Our Strathfield North Public School P&C Father’s Day Stall is coming up! Students will have the chance to choose a special gift for Dad, Grandpa or another important person in their lives, with gifts ranging from $1 to $12.

🗓️ When: Thursday 27 August – First Stall
and
Friday 4 September – Second Stall
🏠 Where: SNPS Community Hub

🌟 We need volunteers to help make the stalls a success! Whether you can spare an hour or stay for longer, every helping hand makes a difference. Volunteers must have a WWCC or complete a signed declaration prior to commencement.

The P&C is an important part of our school community. We provide services like:

Weekend 2 of the SNPS Dance Competition Season! 💙✨

Sunday saw our dancers take to the stage at Sydney Eisteddfod, competing amongst an incredibly high standard of dance from schools across Sydney and all education sectors.
We are thrilled to announce that both our Junior and Senior Competition Troupes received Highly Commended awards! 🌟

✨ Senior Competition Troupe - Years 3-6 Dance

With 17 performances in each section, this is a fantastic achievement and we couldn't be prouder of our dancers!

A huge thank you, as always, to our wonderful Dance Team and to our families for spending their Sunday afternoon cheering on our dancers - your support and commitment never go unnoticed.

Next weekend, all of our competition troupes are back on stage for one final competition of the season. We can't wait!

Another fantastic winter NSW Primary School Sports Association interschool sport season has come to an end!

Well done to all of our teams for your effort, sportsmanship and dedication each week. We are so proud of the way you represented our school throughout the season.

A fantastic achievement by our Junior Girls Soccer, Junior Netball A and B, Junior Touch Football and Senior A Netball teams, who all made it through to the finals! 👏
An extra special mention goes to both our Junior Netball A and B teams, who were crowned season premiers! 🥇🏆

What an incredible way to finish the season!

Strathfield North Public School’s 2026 dance competition season is off to an incredible start! 💙✨

Well done to all 42 dancers who represented our school with such pride, teamwork and enthusiasm at DanceSpec in Wahroonga on Saturday.

🥉 Congratulations to our Senior Competition Troupe on placing 3rd with their routine, “Revolting Children”.

A special shoutout to our inaugural Mini Competition Troupe, who took to the stage for their very first eisteddfod, as well as our wonderful Junior Competition Troupe.

A big thank you to our SNPS Dance Team: Miss Sally, Miss Di Palma & Miss Francis and our very supportive families.

Chookas SNPS! 🎉❤️

What an amazing performance you gave at Wakakirri last night! This year's theme was 'Guardians of Us' and our school performed a number based off Tarzan, as he, and many other characters in the story, protected and were guardians of the things and people they loved.

Our students were amazing throughout the entire day, from final rehearsals at school, getting their hair and makeup done by our lovely teachers, to being respectful and kind to all the National Institute of Dramatic Art and Wakakirri staff, to finally performing on stage, we could not be more proud of you all!

Not only that, our efforts were recognised by receiving the Best Public Speaking Award for the first time EVER! What an amazing way to end the night.

As always, lots of thank yous are in order!

First of all, thank you to Miss Sally, our AMAZING dance teacher and choreographer, who never ceases to make up laugh and seem to have endless amounts of energy.

Thank you to Miss Di Palma, Miss Francis and Mr Zhang for their tireless work this whole year leading up to the performance, making props, costumes, backdrops and everything in between.

Thank you to the parents who spent time rehearsing at home and came to watch the performance, we hope we've made you proud!

And lastly, thank you to Miss He, Miss Li, Miss Simpson, Miss Wood and Miss Young for taking time out of your day and supervising the students.

We can't wait to hear the final results but we already know that we have done an amazing job 🥰
