❤️ On the eve of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, our Stage 3 students took part in a meaningful Vinnies Winter Immersion experience, reflecting on Christ’s call to love, compassion and service.
Through prayer, eating simple foods, preparing sandwiches for those experiencing homelessness, and listening to the powerful story of a Vinnies guest speaker, students gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by many in our community.
As evening approached, students used simple recycled materials such as cardboard to create makeshift shelters, offering a small glimpse into the reality of sleeping rough.
This immersive experience encouraged empathy, gratitude and a commitment to living out the values of the Sacred Heart through acts of kindness and service to others. ❤️

Our Kindergarten students have been busy mathematicians, learning to create, model and recognise different combinations for numbers. 🔢✨
Using hands-on materials, students explored the many ways numbers can be made. They practised breaking numbers into smaller parts and discovering that there is often more than one way to make the same number.
These experiences help build strong number sense and lay important foundations for future mathematical thinking. We are so proud of the enthusiasm, problem-solving and persistence our students showed during their learning! 🌟

Our Kindergarten students put their learning into action this week as they designed and created comfortable, movable modes of transport for our class toys! 🚗🚌🚀
After exploring how different objects move, students applied their understanding to carefully plan and design their own transport creations. With the support and encouragement of their wonderful Year 6 buddies, they then brought their ideas to life through building and testing their designs.
Students showed fantastic creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout the project. A special thank you to our Year 6 students for being such caring and supportive mentors. 💛
