Imagine sitting down at a Parisian bistro and actually knowing what to say. No fumbling. No pointing at the menu hoping for the best. Just confidence โ€” and probably something delicious on your plate. That is entirely achievable before your flight, and it does not require hours of study every day. A little structure goes a long way. Head to the blog to see the eight-week plan for yourself.

LET ME EXPLAIN:

Most people think that when they've lost their French, they need to rebuild everything from zero.

But the real issue is actually simpler: it's not lost โ€” it's just rusty.

Because the French your brain absorbed over years of study doesn't disappear. It gets buried. And buried is very different from gone.

โ†’ speaking before you feel "๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’…๐’š"
โ†’ stopping the wait to "๐’“๐’†๐’—๐’Š๐’†๐’˜ ๐’†๐’—๐’†๐’“๐’š๐’•๐’‰๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’‡๐’Š๐’“๐’”๐’•"
โ†’ working with someone who knows exactly how to unlock what's already there

It's often much simpler than people thinkโ€ฆ you just need to put your energy in the right place.

If you want to figure out exactly where you are and what to do next, comment ๐‚๐€๐‹๐‹ and I'll send you the link to book a discovery call.

Do you know the word for ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐Ÿ in French?

It's ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž โ€” and the spelling will throw you off if you've never seen it before.

Watch the video, then tell me: can you say it?

Okay so technically you shouldn't be able to watch French TV in Australia. But technically, there's a workaround. And it's easier than you think. No dodgy sites. No weird downloads. Just you, your laptop, and the exact same shows people in Paris are binge-watching right now.

If you want to know where to watch French films online for free and feel like you're actually in France, this one's a game-changer. I spill it all in the new blog post.

How do you say ๐ฒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒ in French? ๐Ÿค”

It starts with a silent H, sounds nothing like it looks, and rhymes with the French letter R.

๐‡๐ข๐ž๐ซ. Four letters. Two syllables. Zero excuses.

Save this so you never forget it. ๐Ÿ’›

I hear this all the time from adults who learned French at school or uni.

But hereโ€™s the truth:

If you wait for perfect, you hesitate more.

And the more you hesitate, the less natural you sound.

Fluency comes from:
โœ”๏ธ speaking even when itโ€™s not perfect
โœ”๏ธ staying in the conversation
โœ”๏ธ getting small corrections over time (without losing confidence)

Comment ๐‚๐Ž๐๐•๐Ž and Iโ€™ll send you the link to the ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐š๐ ๐ž (๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ž๐จ).

๐–๐‡๐„๐‘๐„ ๐ˆโ€™๐ƒ ๐’๐“๐€๐‘๐“๐Ÿ‘‡

I wouldnโ€™t start with a classic.

And I wouldnโ€™t start with a book just because itโ€™s โ€œ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅโ€.

Iโ€™d start with a ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ซ๐ž ๐ˆ ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ง๐ฃ๐จ๐ฒ.

(For me, thatโ€™s sciโ€‘fi. For you, it might be thrillers, romance, whatever.)

Because when you already know the โ€œrulesโ€ of the genre, your brain does a lot more guessing from contextโ€ฆ and reading gets easier ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ.

Then Iโ€™d make it even simpler:
โžก๏ธ pick something accessible
โžก๏ธ stop using the dictionary every 10 seconds
โžก๏ธ focus on the story first

Comment ๐๐Ž๐Ž๐Š and Iโ€™ll send you the French Book Club info page.
