Congratulations to everyone who graded over the weekend. Everyone did well and made it a fantastic day.

Hi everyone,

Firstly just want to say a huge congratulations to Stephanie for achieving her blue belt with great effort and dedication for many years.

Coming up to the end of the year, we are holding two no Gi nights. The first being the Tuesday the 18th of November and the second, which will also be our last training night for 2025, will be the Friday the 12th of December.

So everyone can enjoy a nice long break to get away to see family, and escape the free "saunas" of training, we will have our final training night on the 12th of December and will return on Tuesday the 13th of January. This will allow for a great break for everyone to enjoy before returning in 2026 to burn off those holiday calories and reconnect with your Judo team / family.

And finally, we are organising an end of year dinner on Saturday the 13th of December. Refer to your emails (or there is a sheet at the training hall) for people to throw in their vote for a choice out of 4 restaurants. Friday the 14th, we will select the restaurant with the most votes and then confirm numbers of people who want to attend to farewell our 2025 training year with your Judo team 😄.

This Friday (July 25th) will be a no Gi night. So come on down and have some fun learning and practising different grips and throws when you don't have our standard uniform to use.

Our club was lucky enough to have a visit from the National Participation Manager, Coach Shane Alvisio on Tuesday night. It was a fantastic night, and everyone attending thoroughly enjoyed the training. Thank you Sensei Shane for your time!

There will be no training this Friday (ANZAC day). Everyone stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all back next week.

There will be no Judo tonight (Easter Friday). Hope everyone has a great long weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone on the mat next week.

On Tuesday the 3rd Dececember it will be a no gi night.
The last night for the year for training will be on Tuesday the 10th of December and starting back on the 14th of January.
On the 13th December, we are thinking of doing dinner at the Mt Pleasant Tavern for members, partners, and families, at 6pm instead of training. If people can let us know by the 3rd December if coming to the dinner so we can know number to book.
