Understanding the lessons from past incidents is one of the most powerful ways to build safer, more resilient operations. When teams learn to recognise early warning signs, they make better decisions long before risks escalate.
The Learning from Disasters Program, developed by Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) and delivered through the Simtars Approved Provider network, supports supervisors, statutory ticket holders and safety professionals to strengthen their ability to anticipate, recognise and respond to risk.
This workshop brings together real incident case studies, human factors insights and practical leadership tools designed to enhance safety capability across mining and quarrying environments.
Our next session will be held on 7th of August 2026 in Down Under’ Training rooms at 12/16 Transport Ave Paget.
