✨ Classroom Grouping Inspiration! ✨

One of my favourite parts of planning lessons is deciding how to group students. The right grouping strategy can make such a big difference to engagement, confidence, collaboration, and learning.

Personally, I love using mixed-ability groups for collaborative activities because students can learn from each other's strengths and support one another. I also like changing groupings throughout the week depending on the lesson, so every student has a chance to work in different ways.

Whether you use mixed ability, similar ability, random groups, partners, or student choice, there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Every class is different, and the best grouping strategy is the one that helps your students thrive.
