📣 Callout to Manly Selective Alumni
Tuesday, 13 October 2026 | 10:30am–1:30pm

Following the success of last year's interactive Year 11 → Year 12 Orientation Day, we're excited to once again invite Manly Selective alumni back to school to share their experiences of life after school.

We're looking for alumni who can talk honestly about their post-school transition, university experience, degree choices, internships, first jobs and career journey so far .

Ideally, we're looking for alumni currently studying or working in a broad range of fields, including:

We're particularly keen to hear from alumni who can share the real story – what they studied, how they chose their course, what surprised them, what they wish they'd known in Year 11/12, and where their degree or career has taken them.

You don't need to be an established professional. Recent graduates and current university students are especially welcome. Sometimes hearing from someone only a few years ahead is exactly what students need.

The school musical for 2023 is: West Side Story and tickets are now available.

Manly Alumni is excited to announce that West Side Story will be Manly's musical for 2023. There will be only 5 performances from Tuesday 20th June to Saturday 24th June. Tickets will be available soon - we will post the details once they are on sale. Manly last performed West Side Story in 2011. We will try to find some photos from this production to share.

As you may know, after many years at Manly, Vicki Maggs and Rob Harris are retiring at the end of this term.

We have TWO NBSC Manly Campus ALUMNI COMPETING AT THE TOKYO OLYMPICS // 🇯🇵
🏑 Timothy Brand (Class of 2016) is in the Australian Hockey team.
⛵️Lisa Darmanin (Class of 2009) is sailing for Australia in the Mixed Nacra event. Lisa won the Silver medal in the mixed Nacra 17 at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Keep a look out for them in action over the next few weeks and be sure to cheer them on!
We wish them both the very best of luck!
