📱✨ What a special day at Paringa Park PS! ✨📱
Today we were thrilled to welcome some very special visitors to our school — Premier Peter Malinauskas, Minister for Education Lucy Hood and Sarah Andrews MP — as we proudly shone a spotlight on the Wait Mate program.
🌱 Wait Mate is about giving our kids more time to simply be kids.
It’s a growing movement of parents who believe childhood should be shaped by real people, real-world experiences, meaningful connections and plenty of time to explore, play and grow — before smartphones become part of the picture.
The message is simple: wait as long as possible before giving our children their first smartphone. 📵
At Paringa Park PS, we know that raising happy, confident and connected kids is a team effort. 💙 It takes families, schools and communities working together to create an environment where our children can thrive.
