Friday ice creams are on again this week thanks to LA8, so don't forget to bring your money!
Ice creams are $2, icy poles $1 and all baked/donated goodies are only $1.
Years 1-6 can go up to the canteen window however Pre-Primary's can bring in $1 for an icy pole that their teachers will hand out at lunch time.

Last year the kids LOVED icecream Fridays, and the Marmion P&C are excited to continue the tradition this year. To do this, we need two volunteers per class each week to open up the canteen and sell the icecreams and icypoles to the kids (trust us, it's great fun and one of the only volunteer roles the kids actually appreciate 😆)

If you can't make it the week your class is allocated, no problems, sign up for another week!
We'd love the help any week, any how.
If we don't get enough people to fill the spots then unfortunately we won't be able to open.

If you have time and are able to contribute, we'd love it if anyone on their class day could bring some extra treats along to sell. The kids love anything from chunks of watermelon to cupcakes, slices, cookies and more. But NO NUTS please.

So there are loads of ways you can help out!

Orders are now open for the rest of Term 4!

Our last Friday Meal Deal will be on the 1st December. Pre-order your lunch and afternoon tea and bring coins for ice creams.

8th December is ice cream sales at the canteen window, cash only.

On the last day of school there will be a movie pack available to pre-order and ice creams availbale to purchase at lunchtime.

Canteen going forward.
We are thrilled to announce that Duncraig Senior High School P&C will be servicing our school canteen each Tuesday and Thursday.
Our wonderful Marmion P&C will also be running meal deals every second Friday and each Friday at lunchtime, the kids can line up at the canteen and purchase an ice cream or afternoon treat.

Last Friday we sold 300 ice creams at lunchtime, it was a huge hit!!
We need your help to serve the kids faster, its only 40 minutes of your time and then it's done.
If you have a little longer to spare, we'd love your help packing lunch orders every Friday fortnight too.

Apologies for the mixed messages regarding our beloved Mar-Mites Canteen. But we're here to share some positive news!

Due to rising wage costs & food costs, the current set up of the canteen wasn't viable on an ongoing basis. But we are working hard behind the scenes on a canteen solution for Term 4 and beyond.

It won't look exactly the same, but we're excited about keeping the good old-fashioned school canteen vibes going and to find some fresh parent volunteers (we know you're working from home these days and can make it work...we're looking at you Dads😉 ).
