Maliyan Mob - Wiradjuri Dance The name means Wedgetail Eagle Mob in Wiradjuri language.

'Maliyan Mob' is a Wiradjuri Dance group, made up of proud and deadly Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students from James Fallon High School, mentored by Wiradjuri Echoes.

Maliyan Mob were honoured to perform today at Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation’s RU OK? Day event.

It was a beautiful day of community, culture, and connection. Joe Williams (The Enemy Within) spoke powerfully and honestly about mental health – and even gave our dancers a massive shout-out in his speech!

A huge thank you to Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation for inviting us to be part of this important day. We had three new dancers in the mix who shone. Always proud of our dancers for sharing culture and leading with pride. 🌿✨
