CELEBRATING A MILESTONE | Official Opening of Our Secondary School Campus
On Tuesday, 18 August 2026, Gulf Christian College proudly celebrated the Official Opening of our Secondary School Campus, a historic milestone as we also mark 40 years of God's faithfulness to our College community.
The ceremony brought together students, families, Elders, community leaders and special guests to celebrate the vision, dedication and support that have shaped GCC over four decades. We were honoured to welcome Mr Robbie Katter MP, Member for Traeger, who officially declared the campus open and encouraged our students to embrace the opportunities before them.
We also gratefully acknowledge our College Founders whose vision and faith laid the foundations of Gulf Christian College:

Their legacy continues to impact generations of young people today.
Adding to this special occasion, GCC was honoured to receive a personal letter of congratulations from the Minister for Education, The Hon Jason Clare MP, recognising the significance of this achievement for our school and community.
This milestone represents far more than the opening of a new campus. It is a celebration of God's faithfulness, the vision of our founders, the commitment of our families and supporters, and the bright future ahead for Gulf Christian College.
