As winter concludes we want to give a huge shout out to Vann Clancy (Yr 1) who recently competed in the 2026 Subaru NSW/ACT/QLD State Interschools Snowsport Championships.

Vann competed in the Cross Country Classic, a 500m cross country timed race. It’s normally a longer race but due to snow conditions, the length of the event was shortened for all divisions.

After all the competitors completed the course and the times were confirmed, Vann was fastest in his age group (Year 1), fastest for Qld and awarded State Champion for QLD! 👏👏👏

Congratulations Vann! We look forward to following your exciting journey through the ski fields in the years to come.

CBSQ BASKETBALL

Our Junior Sophomore Boys took to the court for 7 hard fought games at CBSQ (Champion Basketball Schools Queensland) at the Gold Coast, taking on some of the best school basketball teams in Queensland.

The boys produced an absolute statement performance against Ormeau Woods State High School, coming away with a massive 45–25 win! The team put up an incredible 8 three-pointers throughout this game, with sharp shooter Hudson Wood leading the way from beyond the arc!

A huge congratulations to the entire squad on an outstanding weekend of basketball. Seven games of tough competition, plenty of lessons learned and some seriously impressive moments along the way! The future is looking bright for these boys!

A special shout out to Jonathan Price for coaching the boys and Mr Storrs for giving up his weekend as Team Manager. We are extremely grateful to have wonderful staff and parents to support our athletes.
