🌿 Farraway Tree will be closed for a while as we learn to navigate our lives without our beautiful Brad 💔
(See previous pinned post).

Brad and I built Farraway Tree together over 10years ago and it was soo important to us to provide a loving home away from home for all the babes we have cared for over the last decade.
Our family daycare has been such a huge part of who we are as a family of 6, as a mum and dad educator team and within the community we love. We always put so much emphasis on the ‘family’ part of our Fdc, and ask anyone who has been with us, they truely become our extended family.
We’ve created a village, a safe space, a family for life, full of love for all that have passed through our doors and hearts.
My heart breaks that not only have we have lost our amazing husband and father, but that our families have lost their “Brad/Bread” too, and it hurts my heart to know that future families will not know the humour, love and care that he brought. He poured so much of his heart into our family daycare that he will always live on here as I carry on his legacy to continue to build this beautiful family in our community.
Right now it hurts too much to do this without him by my side, always reminding me to stop overthinking, to be in the moment, to find the joy and focus on connections.
He knew how much our Fdc means to me and I will be back I promise!
For now I will take some time to slow down, to focus on my own 4 babies and our healing journey ahead 🤍
I want to say a huge thankyou to our amazing families and community for showing us soo much love through this time. Your support means the world to us and I’m just beyond grateful for each and every one of you. Your generosity, kind words, stories of Brad are priceless.
Thankyou 💖💖 Kayley x
