📚 What a week! Book Week 2026 was packed with creativity, colour and plenty of fun at STM!

Our annual Book Week Parade saw students and staff step into the shoes of their favourite book characters, with everything from timeless classics to modern favourites making an appearance. The effort and imagination on display were incredible!

A huge thank you to our families for helping bring the magic to life. Together, we celebrated the joy of reading, storytelling and getting lost in a good book.

🥇🥇 Double Gold for Ruby Extension!

What an amazing result! Competing against schools from across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast at the Australian Pinnacle Dance Challenge, our Ruby Extension troupe took home 1st Place in both Jazz and Lyrical.

For some dancers, it was their very first competition, but they performed with confidence, supported one another and represented STM with pride. ❤️💙

Congratulations on your hard work, teamwork and outstanding sportsmanship. You’ve made STM incredibly proud! 🌟

Little Learners Prep Transition Program

Our Little Learners are having a wonderful time as they begin their journey towards Prep! Through engaging activities, hands-on learning and opportunities to make new friends, children are building confidence and becoming familiar with school life in a fun and supportive environment.
We love seeing their smiles, curiosity and excitement as they explore classrooms, meet teachers and discover what makes St Thomas More such a special community. 💙💛

Thank you so much for joining us for such a beautiful morning as we celebrated STM’s Biggest Morning Tea. This special event supported the very important cause raising awareness and funds for those impacted by cancer. Thank you to all the wonderful bakers for the generous donations and a very special thank you to Lucy for putting together such a wonderful event. We also gratefully acknowledge the support of our local businesses, whose generosity helped make the morning such a success. 💙💛💙
