Year 10 and 11 students came together at the South Adelaide Football Club to celebrate their Semi-Formal. 💃🕺

Our students dressed to impress and enjoyed a fun night of dancing together! We hope it was a memorable night.

Special thanks to our student volunteers who worked hard to transform the venue, hanging decorations and inflating balloons earlier in the day. 🔮

Year 11 Food and Hospitality students showcased their creativity in the Signature Desserts Unit, producing a range of outstanding desserts. 🧑‍🍳🍰

Throughout the unit, students explored contemporary flavour profiles and modern presentation techniques as they designed, planned, and crafted their own signature desserts.

Each creation included at least four distinct elements, with careful consideration given to colour, flavour combinations, texture, and height. 🎨✨

In addition, students ensured that all food hygiene and safety practices were followed throughout the process.

Every year during Wellbeing Week, YCS hosts ‘Good Vibes Day’ during lunchtime. We understand that school can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially in Term 3 as the end of the year approaches.

To help reduce stress and create a fun environment at school, we set up different activities and food stalls around campus.

This year, we had karaoke, photo booths, banner painting, and mini games such as co****le, Connect Four and golf, with prizes up for grabs. We also had free Milo and fairy bread! 🎤🫟⛳️

Good Vibes Day is an initiative we look forward to each year, and we love seeing our school community come together.
