Did you know, worms have 5 hearts, no eyes, and are very sensitive to light?!!!! Yesterday, we were visited by the amazing Caitlin from Farm My School who took our F-2 students on a journey through the wonderful world of worms! They learnt about the difference between composting worms and regular garden worms, how worms help our gardens and environment, and how to set up our very own worm farms, which our year 6 sustainability impact team did! Thanks to Caitlin we now have 2 fully functioning worm farms that will reduce our organic waste and produce for us “worm wee” for our gardens!
