Lying to the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:1–16) with Phillip Jensen.
Phillip Jensen, Bible teacher, evangelist with Two Ways Ministries and author of The Coming of the Holy Spirit, reflects on God’s judgement on Ananias and Sapphira.
What does it mean to lie to the Holy Spirit? Phillip warns of the danger of putting God to the test, and reminds us of the seriousness of failing to declare that it is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Graduated 1959.
Serving across schools, parishes, and city ministry, Peter Kemp has spent a lifetime proclaiming Christ in a wide range of contexts—from classrooms to CBD outreach. After training as a teacher, he came to Moore College and was equipped for decades of faithful ministry shaped by prayer, Scripture, and people.
From youth ministry in Mount Druitt to business outreach and care for the vulnerable in Parramatta, Peter’s ministry has been marked by a deep commitment to meeting people where they are. Establishing a welcoming centre in the heart of the city, he saw the value of simple hospitality—conversation, care, and the gospel.
Even in retirement, Peter continues to pray—for his community, his church, and his family—that many would come to know and trust in the Lord Jesus.

By 1856, when Moore College was founded, European settlement in Australia was already almost 70 years old. What had Anglicans been doing in those decades, and how did Moore College come to be established in the way that it was?

What does it mean to honour widows—and how should the church order its life as God’s family?
In this elective from the 2026 P&A Annual Conference, Lionel Windsor works carefully through 1 Timothy 5:3–16, helping us see how honour, responsibility, and care shape life together under God’s word.
A timely reminder that the church is not just a gathering of individuals, but a household—called to honour one another and live out the gospel together.

“He is risen!” (Mark 16:6)
At the heart of the Christian faith is this wonderful news: Jesus died for our sins and rose to give us new life.
That he did this knowing everything about every one of us makes this all the more wonderful. Now that we are reconciled, how much more shall we be saved by his life. (Rom. 5:10)
As we celebrate the risen Lord, we pray you find time to rest and rejoice in the hope he brings.

“It is finished.” (John 19:30)
Nearly two thousand years ago, Jesus dealt with sin, guilt, death and judgment for all who trust in him.
As the apostle Paul writes, he is “the Saviour of all people, especially those who believe” (1 Tim. 4:10). While we were still enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son. (Rom. 5:10)
This is the cost of our salvation and the heart of Good Friday.
May you have a happy, restful and blessed Easter.

As headphones become part of everyday life, it’s worth asking what we might be tuning out—not just noise, but people, and perhaps even God’s voice.
A thoughtful reflection on listening, isolation, and the call to hear more deeply.
Moore College student Paul Rajkumar reminds us that listening is a choice in this brief article.
