A very special retreat day for our Year 3 children as they prepare for their First Holy Communion.
We listened to the Last Supper Story telling, decorated our pew names, made bread, ate a yummy lunch from Miss Simone’s Canteen and finished the day with a beautiful adoration session.

A fabulous Friday wearing our PJ’s to raise funds for our St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal, followed by Faith Formation and topped off with movie and popcorn afternoon to conclude our Wellbeing Week! 🧡

Farewell to our beautiful Year 4 student,
🦋 Hannah 🦋

Today we say goodbye to a precious member of our St Pius’ family.
Since starting with us in Kindergarten, Hannah filled our school with talent, joy, and light.
She was a gifted dancer in our Dance Troupe, a joyful voice in our choir, a talented artist, and a super athlete who was recently awarded Age Champion at our Athletics Carnival.
More than all of this, Hannah was a friend to everyone. Her kindness, her smile, and her gentle spirit made our community better. We will miss her more than words can express.
We thank God for the gift she has been to us, and we hold close the image of her cartwheeling through heaven, free, joyful, and wrapped in God’s love.
We continue to keep her parents, Wasima and Ivan, in our prayers, asking God to surround them with strength, comfort, and peace.🕊️

Our students performed with so much sass and energy in the Hip Hop section, with Hannah in their hearts, wearing butterflies in her honour. 💜

As our school community continues to grieve the heartbreaking loss of Hannah, many families have reached out asking how they can offer practical support to her parents, Ivan and Wasima, during this unimaginable time.
