Workplace Literacy Support in Real Workplaces is practical, hands-on, and tied directly to the job. It helps workers handle the communication and numeracy demands that come with modern work.

Here’s what it looks like in Otago and Southland workplaces:

• we work with real documents — SOPs, job sheets, safety forms, digital tools

• small groups build confidence quickly

• ESOL staff get support that respects their experience

• numeracy is linked to real tasks: measurements, weights, ratios, time

• supervisors learn clearer ways to give instructions and check understanding.

TEC funding can cover eligible staff, which makes it easy for employers to get started. Our work has proved that when employees feel confident, safety, quality, and productivity all lift.

The aim is to deliver practical, job-focused workplace literacy and numeracy support through Connect-ed: Train, Coach, Achieve. Feel free to message me to see what this could look like for your workplace.

It's going on today! Pretty much booked up but can run small groups if I can assess the student so I know which group to add them to. Question: Is there any demand for classes on Sundays?
