Around 1 in 45 Australians live with a brain injury, 3 out of 4 under 65 years and can occur at any stage of life.

These injuries can occur from

🧠 dementia

Raising awareness is essential, through understanding &working together, we can help ensure that everyone affected by brain injury feels connected, supported, and empowered.

This past week 3RT have been on a roadshow training Nurses and Doctors across Western-North Western Victoria.

3 years of working in conjunction with Western PHN to deliver valuable training to Ballarat & Horsham, onto Warrnambool and Geelong, specifically for GP's, nurses and GP clinics. 👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

In addition, we ventured a little further North to Mildura, an opportunity greatly appreciated by those attending.💫

However, its not all work! as you can see we visited some silo art, the light show at Mildura, saw green fertile crops for thousands of acres across the Mallee and Wimmera, visited the Eureka Centre in Ballarat and to walk in the sand at the ocean.

In the end........we arrived at Mildura!
Training fabulous nurses from both sides of the Murray River.

Such a wonderful opportunity to deliver education to staff who don't have access to face-to-face training, and, who are so very appreciative of the opportunity.

Watch out for tomorrow, some sightseeing along the way, the country this way is remarkable after the rain! 🚙
