My name is Tammy and I am an experienced Music Teacher of 34 years who has professional qualifications teaching music including piano, keyboard, organ, music theory, composition and arranging.
Most recently I was a school Music Teacher at a College in Canberra teaching gifted musicians from a variety of backgrounds. Alongside school commitments and musically directing several musicals, I maintained a private business teaching various piano, keyboard and organ methodologies.
I have taught students of all ages and abilities within Australia and overseas and have always maintained an excellent rapport with my students.
My qualifications include:
🎼 A Bachelor of Music Education from UNSW
🎼 AMusA AMEB (Associate Diploma) in Pianoforte
🎼 AMusA in Organ
🎼 Grade 7 Theory; and
🎼 Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
Piano or keyboard lessons
🎵 Individual - $35 per 30 mins
🎵 Group (2 students) - $25 per 40 mins pp
🎵 Group (3+ students) - $25 per 60 mins pp
Lessons are held at my studio in Newport. Discounted rate for seniors and pensioners. Online and virtual lessons available. Currently a registered teacher with QLD Department of Education and hold a current working with children check.
First lesson is free to give you an opportunity to meet me and learn some music.
