We opened the doors to our beautiful Holland Park centre on the 13th of June. It has been a lovely month getting to know our children and families, and we look forward to a wonderful second half of the year. Families can register their interest via our website www.podearlyschool.com.au.

Merry Christmas to our beautiful families 🌟
Our Directors from both Mt Gravatt and Newmarket dropped your donations off to the Queensland Children’s Hospital this week, and we were overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you for taking the time to do something for children who will be in hospital over the holidays.
We hope everyone has a lovely day tomorrow, and gets to spend quality time with loved ones. It has been another wonderful year at Pod Early School and we look forward to welcoming 2022.

At Pod Early School, it is our priority to support and encourage healthy eating for children in our care. Our centres have professionally trained Chefs who prepare our meals based off Australian Dietary Guidelines. Fresh produce is sourced from our sustainable gardens, and children are offered a wide variety of different tastes and textures. We are seeking experienced, highly motivated and passionate Educators of all levels for our beautiful new northside centre to give children the best possible start in life. To be successful in this role you must hold: either a Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services, current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, current Blue Card, knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, confidence in building strong relationships with children and families, experience in observing and documenting learning, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Our beautiful families dug deep this year and donated presents for children who will be staying in hospital over Christmas. We delivered over 250 items to the Children's Hospital last Friday, and were blown away by our community's generosity. Thank you to everyone who gave something to make a child's stay a little brighter.

We filled our ceiling with red and green balloons this morning to celebrate Christmas. It was beautiful to see the reaction of our children arriving, and the pure joy that something so simple can bring. Merry Christmas 🎄🌟

We celebrated Christmas this morning at Pod Mount Gravatt with a cooking lesson with Chef Tom. Our Pre-Kindy & Kindy children made fruit mince pies, and enjoyed stirring, rolling, cutting and assembling. Cooking is a wonderful way to engage with children of all ages, and is full of rich learning opportunities. Merry Christmas! 🎄🌟

We held our Kindergarten Graduation at Mount Gravatt on Monday night. It was a beautiful event, and we loved spending time with our families celebrating. A special thank you to our teachers Mel and Jade for their passion, energy and dedication over the year. We wish our Kindergarten children all the best for their transition to Prep, and look forward to keeping in touch!
