Welcome to Pod Early School, where every story has a beginning. At Pod Early School we are passionate about giving children the best possible start in life.

We believe that children learn best in a quality environment that is happy, nurturing, engaging and safe. We recognise the importance of our role in guiding and teaching children how to protect and honour our natural world for future generations. This has laid the foundations for the unique design of our Pod Early School and integrated playscapes. At Pod, we understand and carefully consider that children learn, grow and develop in different ways and at different speeds. We provide an environment that is responsive to your child’s capabilities in order for all children to experience feelings of success and accomplishment. With an existing centre in Mount Gravatt, we are thrilled to launch our Newmarket facility in 2021. We opened the doors to our beautiful Holland Park centre on the 13th of June. It has been a lovely month getting to know our children and families, and we look forward to a wonderful second half of the year. Families can register their interest via our website www.podearlyschool.com.au.

Merry Christmas to our beautiful families 🌟
Our Directors from both Mt Gravatt and Newmarket dropped your donations off to the Queensland Children’s Hospital this week, and we were overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you for taking the time to do something for children who will be in hospital over the holidays.
We hope everyone has a lovely day tomorrow, and gets to spend quality time with loved ones. It has been another wonderful year at Pod Early School and we look forward to welcoming 2022.

Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day! Thank you to all of our Educators at Newmarket and Mount Gravatt for your hard work, dedication, and commitment. We value you all deeply and are so proud of our team. You play a huge role in supporting the wellbeing and development of the children in your care, and make our centres the warm and inviting places that they are. On this day, we celebrate you all 🌟

At Pod Early School, it is our priority to support and encourage healthy eating for children in our care. Our centres have professionally trained Chefs who prepare our meals based off Australian Dietary Guidelines. Fresh produce is sourced from our sustainable gardens, and children are offered a wide variety of different tastes and textures. Our centres also have in-house Baristas to make coffee for busy parents in the morning. Here is a sample of our beautiful meals 🍎🥑🍇🥦🥕🌽

We are seeking experienced, highly motivated and passionate Educators of all levels for our beautiful new northside centre to give children the best possible start in life. To be successful in this role you must hold: either a Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services, current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, current Blue Card, knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, confidence in building strong relationships with children and families, experience in observing and documenting learning, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Our beautiful families dug deep this year and donated presents for children who will be staying in hospital over Christmas. We delivered over 250 items to the Children's Hospital last Friday, and were blown away by our community's generosity. Thank you to everyone who gave something to make a child's stay a little brighter.

We filled our ceiling with red and green balloons this morning to celebrate Christmas. It was beautiful to see the reaction of our children arriving, and the pure joy that something so simple can bring. Merry Christmas 🎄🌟
