🌏 International Youth Day | 12 August 2026
Young people are our future—and investing in their mental health is one of the most important investments we can make.
On International Youth Day, we celebrate the resilience, creativity, and potential of young people while recognising the importance of creating safe, supportive environments where they can thrive.
Mental health challenges often emerge during adolescence and early adulthood. By equipping parents, teachers, coaches, youth workers, and community members with the knowledge and confidence to recognise and respond to mental health concerns, we can make a lasting difference.
At In Minds Training, we can help support International Youth Day with our
1. Youth Mental Health First Aid (Youth MHFA) program,
2. In Minds Training workshops and
3. EquiEnergy's Youth services

Our Mental Health Response Course is designed to build capable, confident leaders who know how to respond when someone in their team may be struggling.
Through a highly practical and engaging learning experience, participants develop evidence-based skills they can apply immediately in the workplace. Rather than focusing on theory alone, we equip leaders with the confidence to recognise the signs, have supportive conversations, and guide people towards appropriate support.
The result? Stronger leaders, more confident teams, and workplaces where psychological safety and wellbeing become part of everyday leadership.
📅 Join our next Mental Health Response Open Course this September.
Whether you're developing frontline leaders, supervisors, HR professionals, or managers, now is the perfect time to strengthen your organisation's leadership capability.

🤝🌍 In a world that can feel overwhelming, connection is everything.
International Day of Friendship
📅 July 30
Friendship isn’t just about good times—it’s about showing up, listening, and supporting each other through life’s challenges.
Social support plays a powerful role in our wellbeing. A simple check-in, a shared moment, or just knowing someone cares can make all the difference.
💛 You don’t have to do it all alone—and neither does anyone else.
✨ Today, let’s be intentional about connection:
• Reach out to someone who might need support
• Be present—really listen
• Offer kindness, even in small ways
• Strengthen the relationships that matter
Because when we support one another, we build stronger, healthier communities.

Every meaningful conversation has the power to change a life. 💙
Thank you to the dedicated team at Koppers for participating in our Breaking the Silence, and the Care, Conversations & Connections Workshop on 8 July 2026.
This interactive workshop provided participants with practical tools to recognise when a colleague may be struggling, build confidence in starting supportive conversations, and strengthen meaningful connections in the workplace. By breaking the silence around mental health, organisations can foster a culture where people feel heard, supported, and empowered to seek help when they need it.
A mentally healthy workplace starts with open conversations, genuine care, and strong connections—and we're proud to partner with organisations like Koppers that are committed to making wellbeing a priority.
Thank you for your engagement and commitment to creating a safer, more supportive workplace for everyone.

Great to be back working with Komatsu Australia again.
Newcastle ✅ Rockhampton ✅ and this time round we ran a session at their Sydney head office ✅, bringing together teams from the Illawarra and Minto sites.
This Mental Health Response course helps build psychological safety by increasing mental health literacy, reducing stigma, developing the confidence to have supportive conversations, This creates a more open, supportive, and trusting workplace. It was great seeing two teams come together to engage so openly in these conversations.
A big thank you to Chris Walsh, Shari Tanzer & David Axisa for the work put into organising these session and making it all happen.
