Thank you to the families who organised the end of term farewell group lunch for our Marketown Sessions in Newcastle. What a lovely occasion it was. And showed how valuable community really is with families from all over the world coming together in a local Mexican Restaurant to enjoy traditional Mexican food together.

Around the table were families from Bangladesh, Mexico, Philippines, Indonesia, Sweden and Australia, all with the common interest of wanting a safe and happy environment for their children to thrive in and also to make friends, not only for the children but just as importantly for the mums 💞

Well….the wind has changed and it’s finally time for Nanny Boppins to say farewell to Marketown. It’s been challenging to put 3 years of fun playtime sessions into only 30 photos for this post (so I will do a second one lol).

It has been such a delight to spend my Tuesday mornings with the families of Newcastle. Such beautiful, happy and creative children, and engaging and loving parents, grandparents and carers. I have been so grateful for you showing up each week and bringing your smiles to the Minitown Community.

As Mary Poppins says “With every job when it’s complete, there is a sense of bitter-sweet.” Nanny Boppins also knows that when her job is done it is time for her to move onto new adventures. And it provides the opportunity for the Minitowners to also spread their wings and find their new adventures 🙌

School is back this week and so are Inspired Play sessions! Join us each morning in your favourite centre with your little ones for a full hour of educational entertaining fun. Connect with your community and make friends as we all explore the weekly theme together through music, activities, story, craft and smiles 😊

Wednesdays: Bateau Bay Square (Central Coast)
Thursdays: Salamander Bay Square (Port Stephens)
Fridays: Lake Macquarie Square (Lake Macquarie)

10-11am in the children’s playground. No bookings required. All very welcome ☀️❤️✨

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all of our beautiful Mums, Nans and women who play special roles in our lives. Thank you for all that you bring to this world and thank you for being you ✨❤️☀️

Term 2 is back and Inspired Play sessions are well under way with a whole dump-truck load of FUN! We’ve been building up, up, up, having fun learning about tools and safety equipment on the building site and using our imaginations to create.

The kids have also had fun learning how to sort their garbage for the recycling truck. Hopefully they all took the rubbish out for their parents last week!
