💛 Hello friends! I've been digging into the data from our online shop and over the past year our most popular splat colour has been YELLOW! 💛
This makes me happy, because yellow radiates joy, optimism, energy and warmth — everything creativity should feel like. It’s the colour of sunshine, bright ideas and bold beginnings. It also is the colour of my birthday cake this year!
No wonder yellow is our number one Splat colour.

What a fabulous way to end the school year! Thank you to The University of Newcastle, Australia Canva NSW Department of Education for providing teachers with this opportunity to connect and get hands on with STEM opportunities for their students. A special thanks also to the amazing keynote presenters for their commitment to supporting teachers and students in the STEAM space.
Wow, can you believe it's already Term 4 and only 8 weeks until Christmas? Time flies! 🎄✨ For those of you who have been following Splat3D from the start, you know I’ve been creating all our resources with Canva—and still do! This year, I’ve been showing teachers how I use Canva in my classroom, and let me tell you, I’m absolutely loving it! 🎨💻
I had hoped to share more with you all last term, but as some of you may know, Glenn needed heart surgery, so we’ve had to slow down a bit and focus on family. Good news he is on the mend ❤️ So stay tuned—exciting things are still ahead! 🥳

Firstly, who doesn't love the visual brain tease of a good MC Escher tessellation? Those mind-bending patterns and illusions that seem to go on forever – truly captivating! But in this video, we're not just admiring; we’ll have you creating your own in three dimensions within the next 5 mins.

I absolutely did not expect to end my school year holding a chunk of Mars, yet here I am doing just that. As we head back to school for 2024 I am excited to think about both the planned and unexpected learning adventures ahead. Both equally valuable. This year I am looking forward to creating and delivering learning opportunities that allow room for the unexpected. Hopefully, in doing so I can better serve our amazing teachers and students.
Best wishes to all our school friends as we navigate the hectic few weeks of Term 1. We'd also like to thank the for this special invite. I'll be putting this picture on my desk to remind myself of the unknown but amazing opportunities that lie ahead for each and every one of us this year.
We love seeing our Splats arrive in new locations and learning more about the community that supports our work. As a small business we really appreciate every sale. So a huge thank you to all our incredible customers.
