That's why we've added a new Su***de Prevention Grants resource to help organisations find funding opportunities.

Whether you're working in education, healthcare, a workplace or a community organisation, you'll find:
• Grant and funding opportunities by region

Connection doesn’t always need a big moment. Sometimes, it’s found in the ordinary ones.

Our colleague Ricky Nguyen shared this reflection for , reminding us what being fully present with the people who matter can look like.

A meal together. A walk. A meaningful conversation. Shared laughter. Simply being there.

Ricky’s reflection invites us to notice the everyday moments that help us listen, understand and stay connected to one another.

This week, we’re asking:

💬What is a moment of connection that has stayed with you?

Reply in the comments, post your own reflection using and tag LivingWorks or email us at [email protected].

When it comes to ***dePrevention, connection is powerful.

Evidence continues to show that meaningful social connections support wellbeing and help protect against isolation. From a brief conversation with a stranger to a trusted relationship or a community support network, connection can remind people they are not alone.

Creating su***de-safer communities takes all of us. It requires trained Helpers, supportive environments, strong community partnerships and access to care.

Together, these connections create pathways to hope, support and safety.

Sometimes a few words can stay with us.

Thank you, Paige Hirt, for sharing this moment with .

During a conversation focused on supporting someone else, a Trainer paused and said, “Paige, you matter.”

Simple words. But at the right moment, they helped her feel seen, valued and connected.

It’s a good reminder that connection doesn’t always need to be big or complicated. Sometimes it’s taking a moment to notice someone and say what they may need to hear.
