The Scholarships Breakfast is a highlight event on the Wollotuka calendar each year. It’s a morning to allow donors and students to come together, meet, and for the impact of such support to be shared through storytelling and connection.

An exciting new scholarship is now open and ready for applications!
Australia's national science agency, CSIRO, have committed $1.5 million to creating pathways, and encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to pursue careers in STEM and play a leading role in Australia's energy transition.

Join us for the inaugural Guthi Wangga – Indigenous Excellence Ball ✨
Held in recognition of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), Guthi Wangga is a celebration of Indigenous cultures, achievements and self-determination across Australia, the Pacific and beyond.
The evening will honour the University of Newcastle's commitment to The Wollotuka Institute's Cultural Standards, including recognising recipients of the inaugural Cultural Standards Awards, acknowledging individuals and teams whose actions exemplify cultural excellence.
