Come along and enjoy some fun games, light refreshments and a chance to celebrate together!

Meet Bardo, our Bearded Dragon! This term, NSS is excited to participate in the Humble Hive habitat experience. Through this immersive program, students become Dragon Keepers, caring for Bardo and learning about desert habitats and animal welfare. By observing and caring for their scaly friend, students develop confidence and appreciation for the natural world.

Last Friday, a group of NSS students went to Dullboys Social Club to take part in an Inclusive Sports Tenpin Bowling competition. A total of 694 teams joined the event. Congratulations to everyone who took part, and a special shout-out to Ethan and Kai for getting high scores. It was a fun day for all involved!

Class 2 has been working hard since coming back from the holidays! Last term, we went on some excursions to Newcastle City Centre. It was so much fun! We celebrated Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Day. We’ve been cooking lots of delicious foods and getting creative in Art. We’re enjoying visiting Mini Woolies and making candles for the Chances shop too!

Class 1 continues to be busy, focusing on PDHPE and participation in the Chances work skills program. Students have been learning important skills through cooperative group activities, teamwork, and hands-on experiences. Well done, Class 1!
