Meet Our Educator: Bre Collin

Bre Collin is a passionate educator in the 0-3 room at Elermore Vale Early Learning Centre. She graduated from Aitkin’s Child Care College in 2016 with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. With ten years of experience in the field, Bre joined our team in 2021, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role.

Bre is committed to creating a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment where each child is valued as an individual. She believes in recognizing and nurturing the unique qualities of each child, tailoring learning programs to suit their specific needs. By focusing on each child’s strengths, interests, and abilities, Bre fosters an environment that promotes growth and development across all areas of learning.

Meet Our Educator: Bria Moore

Bria Moore is a dedicated educator in our 0-3 room at Elermore Vale Early Learning Centre. She graduated from TAFE NSW in 2016 with a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Bria has been an integral part of our team for nearly 11 years, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her role.

Bria is committed to creating fun, engaging learning environments that foster children's growth and development. She believes in providing opportunities for children to enhance their imaginations, creativity, and understanding of the world around them. Through play-based learning, Bria encourages positive interactions that allow children to explore, learn, and develop essential skills for the future.

Meet Our Educator: Laura Berni

Laura Berni is a dedicated educator in the 0-3 room at Elermore Vale Early Learning Centre. She holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, which she obtained from TAFE NSW in 2016. Laura recently expanded her expertise by completing her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care through Atkinson Child Care College in 2024.

With seven years of experience in the field, Laura joined our centre in 2020. She is passionate about creating a fun, play-based learning environment that fosters the growth and development of young children. Laura is committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of background or ability, are included and valued in the learning process.

NSW Fire Service Cardiff Station Visits EVELC

We were delighted to welcome members of the NSW Fire Service from the Cardiff Station to our centre recently. They visited to talk to the children about the importance of fire safety. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, the fire service team provided valuable information to help the children understand how to stay safe in the event of a fire.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn from real-life heroes and gain essential knowledge that will help keep them safe.

Exciting News About Our Preschool Program!
Did you know that we offer an enriching preschool program designed to prepare your child for their educational journey?
Ellise Rowland, our passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). Graduating with a Bachelor of Teaching from Newcastle University in 2020, Ellise brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our 3-6 year room. She is dedicated to implementing a dynamic curriculum that nurtures the development of crucial skills in children, including social, emotional, cognitive, motor, and communication skills—all vital for school readiness.
Under Ellise’s guidance, the dedicated team of educators work with the children not only to engage in meaningful experiences but also to build a strong foundation for their future learning experiences.

Meet Our Educator: Amanda Donald

Amanda Donald is a dedicated early childhood educator with a wealth of experience in nurturing young minds. She graduated from TAFE NSW in 2006 with a Certificate III in Child Care and Education. Amanda's journey with Elermore Vale Early Learning Centre began in 2005, where she started as a trainee and has since continued to grow within the centre.

With over 15 years of experience, Amanda is deeply passionate about the significance of the early years in a child's development. She believes that the first five years of a child's life are crucial in laying the foundation for their future success and well-being. Amanda is committed to providing a supportive, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop the skills they need to lead happy, fulfilling lives.

Nutritious Meals at EVELC

At Elermore Vale Community Pre-school and Early Learning Centre,
we take pride in providing nutritious meals for the children, ensuring they have the energy they need for a full day of learning and play. We offer Morning Tea, Lunch, and Afternoon Tea, all designed to meet the dietary needs of young children.

Did you know that we are required to provide children with 50% of their daily intake during their time at the centre? To ensure we meet these requirements, we have a dedicated team on staff five days a week to prepare balanced meals and address any questions regarding your child’s dietary needs.

Meet Our New Centre Cook: Collin

We are excited to welcome Collin, our new centre cook, to the team. Collin is passionate about children's health and nutrition, and he is dedicated to ensuring the children have the right fuel for their busy day at Elemore Vale Community Preschool and Early Learning.
