💚 Meet the Educators Night at Murray Bridge

It was wonderful to bring our families and team together for our recent Meet the Educators Night and Flying Start Program information session.

Families had the opportunity to spend time with our educators, learn more about what happens within their child’s room and hear about our Flying Start Program and how we support children as they prepare for their next big step.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We love creating opportunities for our families and educators to connect, ask questions and learn more about their child’s journey at Bright Steps Academy Murray Bridge. 🌱

🌿 Ready for a New Day of Learning

Before the children arrive, our educators at Bright Steps Academy Windsor Gardens are already busy setting up the room for the day ahead.

Each space is thoughtfully prepared around what the children have been interested in, talking about and exploring, creating little invitations to play, discover and learn.

It’s all about creating a space that feels welcoming, familiar and exciting from the moment they walk in. 💚

🧁 Little Scientists in the Kitchen

Our little scientists at Bright Steps Academy Blair Athol have been exploring the science behind baking through a very delicious hands-on experience!

The children measured, poured and mixed ingredients, observing how different textures and ingredients combined and changed to create their cupcake mixture.

Once baked, it was time to get creative with icing and sprinkles, exploring colours, patterns and textures while proudly decorating their own creations. ✨

Baking is a wonderful way to bring early science, maths, creativity and fine motor skills together — with a tasty treat at the end! 💚

💛 Daffodil Day at Windsor Gardens

Recently at Bright Steps Academy Windsor Gardens, our children, families and team came together to acknowledge Daffodil Day and help raise awareness for Cancer Council and the important work they do supporting people impacted by cancer.

Our centre was filled with a little extra yellow, with a beautiful Garden of Hope display and a special yellow-themed morning tea for our families and team to enjoy. 🌼

Thank you to everyone who joined us in recognising such an important day and helping create a meaningful sense of community and connection.

🔍 Little Explorers at Bentleigh

Our little learners have been busy exploring the wonderful world of solids, liquids and textures through hands-on sensory play! ✨

By pouring, scooping, squeezing, mixing and touching different materials, the children are beginning to discover how things feel, move and change.

These playful sensory experiences encourage curiosity, early scientific thinking, fine motor development and problem-solving — all while giving children the freedom to explore at their own pace.

At Bright Steps Academy Bentleigh, learning starts with curiosity, and sometimes the best discoveries are the messiest ones! 💚
