Over the past two weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming two wonderful new educators to our Goodstart Beresfield family! 💛

🌼 Karlee has joined our Preschool 1 room, bringing her passion and enthusiasm to our team and our little learners.

🌸 Kylie has joined us as a Floater Educator, supporting and connecting with all of our rooms wherever she is needed.

Yesterday our staff and children proudly took part in Jeans for Genes Day, wearing their favourite jeans to support an important cause. 💙👖

Jeans for Genes Day is a fundraising initiative that helps support children and families affected by genetic conditions. Funds raised contribute to vital research, early diagnosis, and the development of improved treatments, while also providing hope and support for those living with genetic disorders.

When big emotions take over, children need a calm co-regulator. Our educators help them find their balance by staying calm themselves. Taking a deep breath, getting down to their eye level, and validating their experience (e.g., "I see you are feeling really overwhelmed right now, I am here") teaches them how to safely navigate their inner world.
