Last Friday, members of our St Philip’s leadership community gathered for a special Prayer Morning, dedicating our new Wilderness Centre: Tharreo. Gathered in Swan Bay, we took time to pray, gather, and worship.

The morning began in the Retreat Centre with an opening prayer from our Executive Principal of Dynamic Learning Michelle Cairelli, and a chance to connect. Our CEO Graeme Irwin also introduced the significance of the site. Our small group was then led on our prayer walk around the property. Thank you to our Director of Spiritual Formation Matthew Stackhouse for leading us over this time. Everyone was encouraged to explore the property and take time with God to be thankful, and to seek guidance for the many students, staff and guests that will come through Tharreo in future.

Thank you to our Leader of Adventure Education, Paul Wellham, for your prayerful leadership and dedication in guiding this project. We also thank our Tharreo Caretaker, Adam Collier, for your hard work and commitment in bringing it to life.
