OUR COMMUNITY IS AMAZING 🍪
“Two of my children have been educated and cared for at Little Cookies since 2023; one graduated to Kindergarten in 2024, and the other is still enrolled. To say that Little Cookies has exceeded all expectations (and every previous experience we have had with childcare and early education) would be an enormous understatement. I genuinely cannot put into words how much this service means to our family. What stands out most is that Little Cookies never seems to stop asking, “How can we do this better?” The service is constantly evolving, not simply for the sake of growth or because an industry standard requires it, but because the people here just care about doing the best possible job for the children entrusted to them. Policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and improved, whether in response to changing standards, current events, or simply because the team has identified something that could be done better. We have watched the learning environment continually evolve into what I can only describe as a little wonderland for children (with enormous thought given to learning-based play, creative and open-ended play, sensory experiences, independence, and safety). The team also places a huge emphasis on their own ongoing education and training. Our children are cared for by people who take their safety, development, education and wellbeing incredibly seriously, and who understand that caring for children is so much more than simply keeping them safe and occupied during the day. Collectively, the team has decades of experience, and that experience is evident. They understand that children are individuals, with different personalities, strengths, circumstances, interests and needs. They work incredibly hard to provide genuinely individualised care wherever possible, and to know the children in their care as people rather than simply as names on a roll. Our son went on to absolutely thrive when he started Kindergarten, and I have no doubt that the foundations laid during his time at Little Cookies played a huge part in supporting that success. He left with confidence, curiosity, independence and a love of learning; all we ever hoped for. Our daughter still has some time before she heads to school, but the team at Cookies know her like family. They know her personality, her little quirks, what makes her happy, what she needs from them and how to help her flourish. I know she is receiving the very best beginning we could possibly give her, and in the meantime, she gets to spend her days surrounded by people who really know her, nurture and care for her. There are plenty of childcare services that can provide a safe place for a child to spend the day. Little Cookies has given our children so much more than that. They have helped shape the very beginning of our children’s education, supported them as individuals, celebrated who they are, and given us the enormous comfort of knowing that when we leave our children there, they are truly cared for. We could not recommend Little Cookies highly enough. They have set a benchmark that, frankly, I don’t think other childcare experiences we have had come close to meeting.”
