A lot of people living with ADHD or are supporting a loved one with ADHD find it really difficult to articulate or perhaps even understand the needs associated with it.
For four people, it doesn't matter where you are in the world, I'd love to give gift of Clarity and provide 4 free sessions (one month of coaching) on ADHD.
It will include a greater understanding of what it is, what it isn't, how to work alongside it, and some behavioural tools and approaches to reduce the impact of symptoms.
Send me a DM (first in, first served).

Taking a moment to reflect on today's moment:
Through exploration and discussion, and showing my toddlers the pipes that put water into the toilet... they have come to the conclusion that sharks cannot fit into the toilet and so there is no further reason to fear flushing.

Topic:
Where do I start?
It can a difficult and daunting question to ask of yourself and then harder still to answer.
As we zone in on the New Year, we tend to reflect on what we did or didn't do over the last twelve months. Life can make liars over time of even the best of us as we break promises to ourselves about what we will 'set right' in the course of a year.
I believe that the unit of a year is a good marker for change, but needs to be approached at the level of the day.
For just this night, we're going to focus on how to identify your starting point, as well as how to unpack the motivations that will keep you on track.

When we inhale our heartrate goes up, when we exhale our heartrate goes down.
If we deliberately increase the length of exhale to be longer than our inhale, we lower our heartrate through respiratory mechanisms and as a result assert control over our level of autonomic arousal. Meaning, by exhaling for 8 seconds after a 2-4 second inhale, you can reduce feelings of anxiousness and alertness, achieving a state of calm.
So, when you're feeling overwhelmed... take a big breath, and an ever bigger exhale.

Morning sunlight sends 'wakeup' signals to the body, giving instructions to release a number of different hormones responsible for our well-being.
It suppresses melatonin production, and increases cortisol and serotonin in the brain and body - both of which are important for leaning into the day with resilience.
It also stamps your circadian clock for better and more regular sleep cycles, activates key dopamine receptors and enhances metabolism.
Sunlight = Medicine.
