Cardiff Public School is incredibly proud to celebrate Julia, who was successfully selected to have her artwork displayed in the 2026 Newcastle Maritime Art Exhibition - The Mission to Seafarers.

This year’s exhibition theme, “United by the Seas, Together as One,” invited young artists to showcase their creativity and artistic talents. Having Julia’s work selected for exhibition is a wonderful achievement and recognition of her creativity, effort and love of art. Julia’s artwork was proudly displayed alongside other selected works at the Newcastle Maritime Art Exhibition in Wickham.

Congratulations, Julia! What a fantastic achievement and a wonderful opportunity to have your artwork showcased in our local community. We are very proud of you! 💙💛

🏈 DUGS Day is coming to Cardiff Public School! 🏈

We're inviting all our wonderful Dads, Uncles, Grandparents and Special friends to join us for an afternoon of fun!

Come along for a BBQ sausage sizzle, coffee van, artworks, colouring, sport activities and a photobooth — there's something for everyone to enjoy together!

Ask us what we're proud of, and NAPLAN results probably won't be the first thing we say.

We'll tell you about the Kindergarten student who found their confidence. The reader who finally clicked. The friendships made in the playground and the classroom.

Our NAPLAN results are strong, and we're grateful for the effort behind them. But they're one measure of one day — a fraction of what happens here. ✨

At Cardiff PS, learning is built on relationships, structure and belonging. Children are known, supported and encouraged to grow — in the classroom and well beyond it. 💛

That's the school our families choose. And it's the one we'll keep being proud of, results season or not.

🌟 Week 3 Assembly — Celebrating Our Students! 🌟

What a wonderful assembly it was, filled with proud moments and well-deserved recognition. We're thrilled to celebrate our latest Merit Award, Star Student and PLP Award recipients — congratulations to every one of you! Your hard work, positive attitudes and commitment to doing your best have truly shone through. 👏

A very special mention goes to McKiah, who received a PAX Principal's Award — a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the outstanding example you set for others. We couldn't be prouder! 🏆

🎈 CPS Playgroup for 2027 Kindergarten 🎈
Is your child starting Kindergarten at Cardiff Public School in 2027? Come along to our Playgroup for a fun morning of play, connection and getting to know our school community!
Beginning Monday 17th August, children will enjoy a range of fun play activities in the school hall while parents stay and join in.

🧦☕ Winter Woolies Fundraiser — Thank You! ☕🧦

A huge thank you to everyone who rugged up and got involved in our Winter Woolies fundraiser! Together we raised over $400 towards our Year 6 end-of-year activities. 🎉

And can we talk about the hot Milo? An absolute crowd favourite — nothing beats a warm cup on a chilly morning! 😍

Every dollar helps make our Year 6 students' final year at our school one to remember. Thank you to our wonderful families, staff and helpers who made the day such a success. This is what our school community is all about. 💛

This week, Cardiff Public School proudly celebrated Public Education Week by continuing to do what we do best, providing high-quality teaching and learning that inspires every student to learn, grow and succeed.

What a fantastic evening at our 2027 Kindergarten Expo!

As part of Public Education Week, we were delighted to welcome families who are considering or preparing to start Kindergarten at Cardiff Public School next year. The evening gave families the opportunity to explore everything our school has to offer through interactive stalls showcasing literacy, numeracy, wellbeing, HPGE and extracurricular opportunities, while meeting the dedicated staff who make our school such a great place to learn.
