🌟 Maitland Apprentice Billy Shines with Scholarship! 🌟

We’re taking a moment to celebrate our amazing apprentice Billy and the fantastic opportunity he has been given through his host employer, JA Martin! 👏

A year ago, Billy was recognised for his hard work and dedication when he was awarded the Bert Evans Apprentice
Scholarship - a fantastic achievement that we are incredibly proud of.

Since then, Billy has continued his apprenticeship journey, gaining valuable hands-on experience, developing his skills and working towards a bright future in his chosen trade. 🔨

We also want to give a massive shoutout to JA Martin for the amazing opportunity they have provided Billy as his host employer.

🍹 SKILLS WEEK SPOTLIGHT: HOSPITALITY 🍹
Students from Dungog High School have been building valuable skills and taking the next step towards their future careers by gaining their Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification! 🎓🙌
Fully supported by the Educational Pathways Program (EPP) and Dungog High School, and delivered locally by Novaskill, the course has given students the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification and an important skill for future employment in the hospitality industry.
From customer service and communication to understanding workplace responsibilities, students are gaining skills they can take with them into the workforce. 💪
It’s all about giving young people the opportunity to try something new, build their confidence and discover where their skills could take them.
