Family daycare is not just about accepting children of any age, it’s about ensuring I have children of ages that are compatible so positive relationships can be made.

With that in mind, I am currently taking expressions of interest for children over the age of 3yrs old. If you or someone you know fits this description and is looking for a vacancy one day a week (Thursday), please don’t hesitate to message me or comment below.

Today I said goodbye to my families for the final time this year.

As another week comes to an end, we welcomed 3 new friends and all settled in right away! With the weather keeping us cramped up indoors, we kept ourselves busy ensuring the children were happily occupied! Shaving foam and finger painting were a huge hit this week with the children exploring textures and strengthening their sensory development.

On next week’s agenda, cooking, Christmas craft & outdoor play (hopefully!!!) 🎄🎅🏼

This week I opened my doors and welcomed two beautiful girls into my care. My daughter (5 mths old) was absolutely mesmerised by her two new friends and the girls were absolutely smitten with ‘baby Willow’ 💖

What a busy first week we had, exploring both inside and outside and engaging in a vast variety of different learning experiences. This weeks focus was all about building positive relationships and allowing the girls to feel safe and secure in their new environment. As a new week is about to begin, we will be welcoming two new friends this week and we can’t wait to meet them! Stay tuned to see what we get up to this week! Happy Sunday!

Hi and welcome to Little Willow Family Day Care. My name is Kaitlyn and I’m a bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher. I have worked in the childcare industry for over 8 years and as an Early childhood teacher for 3 years. We have recently been blessed with our first child, and with the desire to spend as much time with our little girl, I have decided to utilise my qualification to provide quality care to other children, as well as my own!
