International Chemistry & Art Competition (ICAAC) is on :)
This year's theme is "Chemistry Powering Our Planet", it invites students to explore chemistry's role in energy, sustainability, and the world around them through their own artwork. For students in regional and remote communities especially, this is a great chance to connect science with the landscapes, industries, and environments they see every day.
A few key details:
*Open to school-aged students 5–19, worldwide
*Entries close 1 October 2026 (please double-check the exact cut-off time with our team closer to the date)
*Completely free to enter
*$3,000 AUD in total prizes - $500 AUD each for Junior (5–8), Junior *(9–12), Senior (13–15), Senior (16–19), Group Artwork, and People's Choice
Artwork must be original, physical/traditional media (no digital art or AI tools), submitted digitally as a photo or scan
Students can enter individually and also contribute to one group entry
