Happy Birthday to Miss Sophie, our powerhouse Cheer Coach!

Sophie brings so much energy, passion and dedication to Danceology and our cheer program. She is always pushing our athletes to work hard, believe in themselves and become stronger, more confident performers.

From coaching our Mini Cheer Team and Cheerability athletes to working on stunts, perfecting Pom routines and somehow convincing everyone they can do “just one more,” Sophie gives so much to our teams and we are incredibly lucky to have her.
Her enthusiasm for cheer is infectious, and we love having her as such an important part of the Danceology family.

🏆✨ AUSSIE GOLD – HERE WE COME! ✨🏆

We’re so excited to be back on the competition floor this weekend for Aussie Gold Cheer & Dance! 💚💛🖤

Danceology has a HUGE weekend ahead, with our dancers taking the floor across Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pom and Cheerability on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August.

We are especially excited to have so many of our Danceability and Cheerability teams competing alongside our mainstream performance teams. This is exactly what Danceology is all about — every dancer having the opportunity to train, perform, compete and shine.

Our dancers have been working incredibly hard in the studio, and now it’s time to get out there, enjoy the stage and show everyone what Danceology can do! 🌟

Our Junior Danceability Team, SHINE, has been absolutely amazing on stage this year! 🌟

This is their very first year performing together, and they are already blowing audiences away. These incredible young dancers have worked so hard — not only learning their routines, but developing proper dance technique, performance skills and the confidence to step onto that stage and SHINE! 💗

AASCF Winterfest was their first-ever performance as a team, and what a way to begin their journey — bringing home 1st Place! 🥇🏆

But for us, the biggest achievement is seeing how much these dancers have grown. Watching them become more confident, improve their technique and discover how much they are capable of is what Danceability is all about.

Now they are SO excited to get back on stage and perform together once again! 🥰

We are incredibly proud of our SHINE kids and can’t wait to see where their journey takes them. This is only the beginning! 🌟💖

Our Danceability Pom Team has had such an incredible journey with their Wicked routine, and we are so excited to see where they take it this year! 💚🖤 🩷✨

This routine had an amazing start, scoring 90 at CheerCon Nationals in 2025, and since then our dancers have continued to work hard, build their skills and grow together as a team.

What makes this routine even more special is the incredible dancers performing it. Many of our students face challenges every single day, yet they continue to show up, work hard, push boundaries and prove what is possible. 💪

One of those dancers is the amazing Sophie Nicki, who has CP and performs a back handspring in the routine! 🤸‍♀️ Sophie is a wonderful example of why we should never place limits on what someone can achieve because they have a disability.

But Sophie is just one of the many inspirational dancers in this team. Every athlete brings their own strengths, challenges and determination to the floor, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.

This is what Danceability is all about — creating opportunities, challenging expectations and allowing every dancer to discover just how much they are capable of. 🌟

We can’t wait to watch this Wicked routine continue to grow throughout the season! 🩷🤍🖤

✨ DANCELIFE UNITE – HERE WE COME! ✨

Our Danceability Performance Team is heading back to the stage at Dancelife Unite on Saturday 8th August at Nerang Bicentennial Centre!

The team will be performing two of their beautiful routines:
🎶 Jazz – “That Don’t Impress Me Much”
🎶 Lyrical – “In This Shirt”

We are so excited to see our dancers take to the stage again and showcase all the hard work they have been putting into these routines. We are incredibly proud of this team and absolutely love watching them perform together. 🥰
