Well 2016, you have been a fantastic one. This year we officially launched our schools program and it has gone off with a bang. So far we have worked with 6 schools, ran 32 workshops/ programs and have taught coding skills to 915 students. We have had the privilege of being invited to keynote and judge at schools technology awards, we have run holiday programs through local governments and we ran our first country road trip, taking our programs to schools down south. We have also been fortunate enough this year to have partnered with ECU Engineering.
None of this could have been possible without the hardwork and dedication of the wonderful Gecko Steps team- Carl, Rob, Sam, Steph, Gaby, Seb & Peter. And another big thank you goes to Alex and Asha from the school of engineering who not only have given us laptops and the use of their robotics equipment but have also supported us in our endeavours.
Looking forward to 2017!
