Nashdale Public School

Nashdale Public School Educating since 1888 Nashdale Public School is located in the glorious foothills of Mount Canobolas on the outskirts of Orange in Central Western NSW.

The school is set amongst picturesque surroundings, with stunning flora and historic buildings providing the perfect backdrop for students to grow and learn. We serve a rural community of students from small farm holdings and orchards around the school district. We also have approximately a third of our population come from the city of Orange, travelling either by bus or private vehicle. The scho

ol has a long and happy working relationship with the local community over the years with many ex-pupils expressing a genuine interest in the progression of existing pupils. Our staff provide a balanced, stimulating and caring atmosphere for all children to progress. Programs presented to students allow for individuality to develop through the provision of a stimulating and challenging curriculum. Established in 1888, the school has a very strong tradition of care and providing an excellent education for all students. All students have the opportunity to learn using state-of-the-art technology. All classrooms contain Smart Boards and each child utilises ipad and notebook technologies.. We believe the partnership between staff, parents and the school community is most important to allow students to achieve at school and beyond.

OUTDOOR CLASSROOM

What an incredible learning space for our students!
Our outdoor classroom is taking shape and is already getting lots of use, despite the chilly winter days.
There are lot of people to thank who have made our vision a reality.
Thanks to...
- our students and staff for input on the design.
- our P&C for raising funds through a myriad of projects, applying for grants & supporting the concept from the start.
- the talented Matt Garlick & McNabb Landscaping for the meticulous construction of the area.

EQUESTRIAN SUCCESS

Congratulations to Eva B who represented Nashdale PS last week at the OAGS Interschool event.

What makes us even prouder is that Eva and her pony Tommy were prepared for the event by Nashdale alumni Darcey "Dixie" Eyb. Eva even used Dixie's saddlecloth from when she used to represent Nashdale.

This was Eva's first competition and she performed so well in the Yr3/4 section;
1st - Novice rider
3rd - Working Stock Horse
3rd - Square yard primary sporting
4th/6th - Preliminary dressage 1.2, 1.3

Thanks to the event organisers for a fabulous competition.

AMAZING ARTISTS

Congratulations to Anneke and Evelyn B who had their beautiful artworks featured in the Cabonne Acquisitive Art Show.

Special thanks to Illuma Energy Molong for their generous sponsorship of the event which will allow Anneke and Evelyn a shopping spree to purchase $400 worth of resources to inspire budding artists at Nashdale Public School.
