🌟 WELL DONE, YEAR 11 & 9 BOYS! 🌟

πŸ‘ Well done and thank you to our Year 11 and Year 9 boys! The Man Up Crew spoke so highly of everyone and we are super proud of the boys’ behaviour, manners and participation in each exercise! πŸ’ͺπŸ‘

The boys spoke openly about emotions, mental health, stigma, stereotypes and real-world scenarios πŸ§ πŸ’¬. We are incredibly proud of your commitment and hope you continue to apply what you have learned in your everyday lives. πŸŒ±πŸ’™

A huge THANK YOU to Man Up for contacting us and including Narrogin in their last-minute visit! πŸ™Œ This was a fully funded initiative at no cost to our school and was simply too good to pass up. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity, time and commitment to our students. πŸ’™

🍽️ Chef Ambassador Visit – Inspiring Future Food Innovators Thursday, 21 August 2026

Yesterday our school was fortunate to welcome Chef Kiren Mainwairing, who delivered two back‑to‑back masterclasses for our Year 10 Hospitality students and Year 11 Food Science & Technology class.🍽️

While demonstrating how to create the perfect porcini mushroom risotto, Chef Kiren shared his career journey β€” from early beginnings to becoming a respected leader in Western Australia’s tourism and hospitality industry. His message was clear: passion, creativity and resilience can take you anywhere. 🌍

Students were captivated as they learned professional techniques, asked thoughtful questions, and gained real insight into what a future in hospitality can look like. Experiences like this help our young people see the possibilities ahead of them and understand how their learning connects to real‑world pathways. ➑️

A huge thank you to Chef Kiren for inspiring our students and bringing industry to life in our classrooms. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

✨ Year 9 Career Taster – Prepare Produce Provide ✨ Friday, 7 August

Our Year 9s had an unforgettable experience as they stepped into our school’s commercial kitchen for the very first time. Led by Head Chef Tanya Heely, the incredible team from Prepare Produce Provide brought their passion for food, culture, and community to life. 🍽️

Their mission β€” β€œCultivating real change for youth through food, culture and community. From kitchen to Country, we unite industry pros, educators and young people” β€” was felt in every moment of the session.

Students worked in small kitchen teams to create a luscious duck curry with sides, together with a mocktail, learning real industry techniques along the way. And for dessert? A show‑stopping strawberries and cream creation that looked as good as it tasted. πŸ₯•

It was inspiring to see our students gaining confidence, collaborating, and discovering the possibilities within the hospitality industry. A huge thank you to Tanya and Prepare Produce Provide for giving our Year 9s such a meaningful and delicious introduction to the world of food. 🍲

🟣 Bullying No Way Day | Wednesday 19 August 2026 🟣

Tomorrow, Wednesday 19 August, Narrogin Senior High School will recognise Bullying No Way Day β€” a day dedicated to standing together against bullying and promoting kindness, respect, inclusion and belonging.

Throughout the day, students will take part in some simple activities designed to encourage positive conversations and remind us that everyone has the right to feel safe, respected and included at school.

🌟 A reminder for our students:
πŸ‘• This is NOT a free-dress day. Students are to attend school in their usual school uniform.

We look forward to making Bullying No Way Day a positive, meaningful and supportive day for all our students. πŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ’œ

Our Year 11 and 12 General Health Studies students successfully completed their Annual Health Expo on Friday of Week 4! πŸŽ‰

Over five weeks, students researched, planned and designed interactive stalls with the goal of promoting positive health behaviours and raising awareness across our school community. πŸ’‘πŸ‘

The 2026 Expo focused on important health topics including:
