๐ Champion Alert! ๐
๐ Congratulations to Nikini! ๐
The entire OzChessKids family is incredibly proud to celebrate Nikini for winning the 2026 Box Hill Junior Rapid Chess Championship in the Under 14 Girls Division held at Glen Waverley Secondary College! โ๏ธ๐ฅ
This outstanding achievement is the result of dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of hard work. Nikini has shown that success doesn't happen by chance; it is earned through commitment, resilience, and a determination to keep improving with every game.
What makes us even prouder is seeing how the skills developed through chess extend far beyond the chessboard. As a high school SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning) student at Kambrya Secondary College, Nikini continues to demonstrate the strong analytical thinking, concentration, discipline, and problem-solving abilities that chess helps to develop. Her success is a wonderful example of how the lessons learned through chess can positively influence academic performance and prepare children for future success.
At OzChessKids, we believe chess is one of the best investments you can make in your child's future. Chess helps children to:
โข Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
โข Improve concentration, memory, and focus.
โข Build confidence and resilience.
โข Strengthen mathematical and logical reasoning.
โข Learn patience, planning, and decision-making.
โข Make new friends and enjoy healthy competition.
โข Spend less time on screens and more time engaging in meaningful, brain-building activities.
The confidence, discipline, and life skills gained through chess don't just help children succeed at schoolโthey help shape future leaders and set them up for success in life.
