Congratulations Year 12 Visual Arts Students!
Today marks a very special milestone for our Narrabri High School Year 12 Visual Arts students, with their HSC Visual Arts Major Works due today!

Countless hours of creativity, dedication, hard work and perseverance have gone into developing and completing these impressive artworks. Each Major Work represents the students’ individual ideas, creativity and artistic journey throughout their HSC year.

Narrabri High School Represented at State Tennis Championships!

Earlier this term, four Narrabri High School students travelled to Forster to compete at the NSW State Tennis Championships.

The girls played fantastic tennis throughout the competition and embraced the opportunity to test themselves against some of the best teams at state level. It was a fantastic learning experience and a great opportunity for them to develop their skills, confidence and teamwork.

We are incredibly proud of their amazing attitude, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the championships. They represented Narrabri High School with pride!

A huge thank you to the parents for their support and for making the trip to Forster possible. Your support of our students and school sport is greatly appreciated.

MAD Night 2026 – WHAT A NIGHT!

Narrabri High School’s MAD Night was once again a huge success, with a full house enjoying an incredible night of music, performance and entertainment.

This year, the audience was taken on a nostalgic journey back to the 1980s, featuring iconic songs including “Xanadu”, “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “Money for Nothing” and “You’re the Voice”.

Behind the scenes, our talented students and staff have spent three terms rehearsing, preparing and perfecting their performances to bring this spectacular show to the stage. Their dedication, commitment and passion were certainly on display

A very special presentation was also made to the Narrabri High School P&C Association in recognition of their generous donation of the new sound and lighting system in the Betty Berriman Hall. The new system was used for the very first time on MAD Night and made a fantastic contribution to the evening.

A huge congratulations to all our students, staff and everyone involved in making MAD Night 2026 such a memorable evening.

Young Drivers Expo

Our students recently attended the Tamworth Young Drivers Expo, a fantastic event brought together by NSW Police, Ambulance Service, Roads and Traffic Authority, and several other key community partners.

The expo gave our young learners valuable insights into safe driving—covering crucial topics like the dangers of mobile phone use, speeding, fatigue, drugs and alcohol, and maintaining vehicle safety. Through interactive discussions and activities, students explored the real-life impacts of risky behaviours on health, finances, and personal wellbeing.

The day also focused on encouraging responsible choices, looking out for friends, and improving communication between young drivers and their families during the learn-to-drive journey.

We’re so proud of our students for engaging with these important messages aimed at keeping our roads safer for everyone!

BOOK WEEK AT NARRABRI HIGH SCHOOL!

Narrabri High School students and staff got into the spirit of Book Week with a fantastic SRC event celebrating books and reading.

It was wonderful to see so many students and staff getting involved, sharing their favourite characters and bringing the magic of books to life.

Thank you to the students from Narrabri High School, who visited our Kindergarten classroom yesterday, as part of our Book Week celebrations. The children delighted in having "Dear Broccoli" read to them, eagerly engaging with the story and sharing their thoughts on their likes or dislike for broccoli. Thanks to 'Frank' and 'Broccoli' for visiting our school.

What an incredible result for Narrabri High School at the NSW Schools Merino Wether Challenge in Dubbo!

Our team of 8 dedicated students achieved some fantastic results, including:

1st – Highest Wool Value, Zone 4
1st – Highest Carcass Value, Zone 4
Champion – Zone 4
3rd – Overall Carcass Value

These results are a fantastic reflection of the commitment and hard work our students have put into the challenge. Over the past four years of competing, our students have continually worked to improve the nutrition, growth, condition and overall value of their Merino wethers, developing a greater understanding of how management decisions can influence both wool and meat production.

Ag teachers Miss Rachel Lilliebridge and Miss Bethany Bray were incredibly proud of the 8 students who represented Narrabri High School. Their dedication, teamwork and willingness to learn throughout the competition have been outstanding.

A huge congratulations to all of our students on an exceptional result!

We are incredibly proud of the progress our Merino Wether Challenge program has made over the past four years and look forward to continuing to build on this success.
