We’re now taking expressions of interest from eligible schools for upcoming programs commencing from week 5 Term 3 and early Term 4.

A Platform to Thrive is a structured, face-to-face program that uses physical activity to support student engagement, participation and connection with school.

Through ongoing group sessions, students develop practical skills such as communication, teamwork, emotional regulation, resilience and goal setting, while exploring how these skills can be applied both in the classroom and in everyday life. While the program is particularly beneficial for students requiring additional support, it is suitable for a broad range of students who would benefit from increased engagement and participation.

Eligible Principal Networks can access A Platform to Thrive at no cost through current education funding.

The Session Templates in our PE Playbook area makes it easy to plan, deliver, and track your sporting sessions all in one place. Simply select the sport you would like to complete and work through each session week by week. As sessions are marked as completed, your progress is automatically tracked through an easy-to-follow task bar, helping you stay organised and monitor progress at a glance. Within the Session Templates section, you can also mark sessions as done and view the full template for the session you are delivering.

The Activity Guides section provides an overview of all available activities, making it simple to find the right activity for your lesson or session. By selecting “View Guide,” you can access detailed instructions and information on how to successfully run each activity. For added convenience, activity guides can also be downloaded for quick and easy access whenever you need them.

Free Intensive swimming lessons kicking off at the Barraba swimming pool from the 11th of May to the 15th of May!

These lessons are fully funded as part of the NSW Government initiative to increase water safety awareness and confidence in the water.

These lessons primarily focus on developing water safety and confidence in young people. Please note, stroke correction is not a priority of the lessons. It will be addressed as apart of safe swimming but the lessons will not focus on strokes for competitive swim. The target audience are those children that need support in water confidence and abilities in the pool.
