Djaadjawan dancers. djaadjawan dancers are an all women's aboriginal dance group based on the south coast Yuin Country .

the Djaadjawan dancers are an all women's traditional aboriginal womens dance group belonging to Yuin Country on the Far South coast NSW. These women sing in Dhurga/dharawal language and are connected from laperouse to Gunai Country in Victoria. Djaadjawan Dancers are very well known in the performing arts sector showcasing their culture through song and dance having performed at the Sydney Opera

House and know interstate . These women are very passionate and strong with sharing culture to the wider and international communities. The dance group has up to 14 dancers with several elders, young mums, to the young girls and babies. They collect all natural resources for uniform making also wear traditional paint from there country. These women hold the stories from Yuin Country that's been handed down to them . Djaadjawan run workshops such as Stringmaking and gathering, medicine making , dancewear, shellart and much more.

PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT | We are advising people who have been in Sydney CBD in the Clarence Street and Wynyard area since 9 December 2025 to be on the lookout for symptoms of Legionnaires’ disease.

Four people, who are not known to each other, have developed Legionnaires’ disease after spending time in Clarence Street near Wynyard in Sydney CBD between 9 and 18 December 2025. People who have been in the area and develop these symptoms should visit their GP or emergency department:
- cough
- chills
- fever
- severe pneumonia
- shortness of breath.
